Eri Nagasaka was born in Tokyo, Japan and graduated in 2001 in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design. Eri got her start in architecture/interior companies in New York City and has gone on to work in retail, hospitality, residential, event installation, and jewelry design. Her comprehensive knowledge of interior and environmental design enables her to work expertly within individual client needs, translating them into unique concepts which are both functional and beautiful space that speak for themselves. Eri is currently working as a freelance design consultant across a range of different products from houseware and jewelry to developing retail environmental concepts. In 2011 Eri established the company Symbols and Rituals in conjunction with her partner Nanse Kawashima. The company has worked on a variety of installation and art projects including The Avant Garde Diaries and Alexander Wang installations.
